  1. Lead dressers are a key tool required in the installation of lead flashing and other metal sheet products. Lead dressers are used to smooth out wrinkles and folds within sheets of lead before they're used as lead flashing. They are shaped with a flat face to create as smooth a surface as possible, and a curved back. They can also be used to set in folds in sheet metal.
