  1. The UK models are manually operated bending machines available in 1,000mm or 1,250mm working lengths. For a stronger, more powerful machine with increased capabilities, please see options for the UKV Model.

    The remarkable thing about these machines are the segmented toolings at all three bar elements, upper beam, lower beam and bending beam. Single segments can be removed from the support rail to get space for preformed flanges. Therefore it is possible to bend parts at all 4 sides and produce even complex box shapes with flanges up and down. The segments go from 30mm to 100mm (UK model) or up to 200mm (UKV model.)

    Benefits
    • The clamping, lower and bending beams are fixed to a support rail with Schechtl's patented quick clamping system, making it possible to combine and rearrange any segments in a flash without the need for tools and screws.
    • Intelligent segment combination of several work steps can be executed in a rational manner without conversion time.
    • Take out individual tools - this creates free space between the segments for closed work pieces.

    Features
    • Welded steel design.
    • Lower bending beam with hand wheel and scale.
    • Set clamping beam pressure with a lever.
    • Scale for bending angle and adjustable angle gauge for equal bending angles.
    • Opening of clamping bar approx. 100 mm.
    • Equipped with wheels, the UK (comes as standard) and the UKV (optional accessory) - can be set up at any point in your production.
    • Standard foot pedal for closing the upper beam – hands-free work throughout the entire production process.
    • Segments not currently in use can be easily stored in a storage tray located above the clamping beam.
    • The storage box for all segments is located in a space-saving location under the back gauge, or can be used as a tool tray in the standard model.

    Optional Accessories
    • High clamping beam segments:
      • 140mm + 160mm (UK + UKV).
      • 180mm (UKV only).
      • (Standard = 100 mm).
    • Clamping bar inserts with 2mm and 3mm radii, zinc and aluminum can be more reliably bent thanks to the larger curve.
    • Various back gauge systems.
    • Inserts for producing windowsills.
    • Roller shear.
    • Wheels with chassis (UKV).

    Difference between UK & UKV Models
    The UKV models have stronger upper, bending and lower beam elements than the UK models. Therefore the UKV covers a larger range of applications up to 2000mm working length and up to 2.0mm thicknesses.
